Americans have learned a lot in the first 6 months of 2025, and we are wise to take note and action. First, the people who wish to defeat us completely and remake America, the Democratic Socialists, the Communists, and the radicals of every ideology will never give up, ever, never. Second, the people who wish to defeat us completely and remake America will use every opportunity, every level of government and courts, to advance their agenda regardless of any election. Third, Americans everywhere must unite to achieve victory. Fourth, the time for action is now.

To achieve this, I am searching for the Angels of Accountability!

The Committee To Fix Washoe Schools is currently researching where over $5,858,246.75 in outside legal expenses and settlements has been spent over the last 10 years, since 2014. In the school districts “Data Gallery”, the line item from which this is paid is “Insurance Funds”. On August 12, The Committee To Fix Washoe Schools submitted a request to understand where “Insurance Funds” are located in the Washoe County School District budget. The response from administrative staff was, “the Nevada Public Records Act does not require public entities to answer questions regarding public records or to clarify those records”. Apparently, these funds were reallocated from classrooms to the “Insurance Funds” account.

This is a difficult, complicated research project and needs your support. Most people in Washoe County are unaware of this issue. It requires research, analysis, media engagement, and even legal fees. Your contribution to the Committee To Fix Washoe Schools Legal/Research Fund of only $10 goes a long way to discovering the answers we all want to know.

The Committee to Fix Washoe Schools is where Nevada Accountability got started, and that work continues. There will be 3 school board trustees elected in 2026. Appointed Trustee James Pheonix has yet to announce his intentions to run, Colleen Westlake has yet to announce her intentions, and Adam Mayberry will be leaving the district to run for Sparks City Council.

There is a real opportunity to change the direction of the Washoe County School District, to participate in that effort become a member of the committee at www.FixWashoeSchools.com to make a real difference in 2026 and beyond.

Nevada Accountability is currently researching the competitive races in the election of 2026 and we will continue to monitor candidates considering those positions. Races we have already identified are all statewide constitutional offices, several legislative races including Senate districts, Assembly districts, the Washoe County Commission, Reno Mayor and City Council, Sparks Mayor and City Council, and several in Las Vegas we are currently researching. This is a time intensive and travel necessary endeavor, and I will need your help to be effective, we need the Angels of Accountability.

We are going to need more hands to get this job done effectively and efficiently. Nevada Accountability is currently in debt $30,000 for staff time, IT services, travel, and public outreach. We also need to raise an additional $120,000 to expand across the state. That is a total of $150,000 we are working to raise by October 1st. This is an very strategic view of what it takes to make a real difference in Nevada, and we need your help to make it happen.
